Refused to Stay

Refused to Stay

A Poem by Inda

Refused to Stay

I never, never knew

this was something you could do.

I always, always thought

you were tough.

But, you had enough,

perhaps I was a bit rough.

You said, said goodbye

and tears fell from my eyes.

Fell to my knees

again love flees.

She ran, ran away;

refused to stay.

Wow this is really great.. I love the repetition, creates a certain atmosphere of longing for that person to stay or come back.

Aww this could be a nice song if you wanted it to be! I felt sympathy for you while I was reading it! :)

Thanks, but don't feel bad for me this is purely fictional. :)
