Dismissed

Dismissed

A Poem by Inda

Dismissed

Automatic your dismissal,

your thoughts are small

minded,

blinded

by an old book.

Moves like a rook.

The knight

is swift in the night,

in search of  the queen.

Beauty remains unseen.

The king remains still,

his fat belly, pastry filled.
