Still Mine

Still Mine

Still Mine

Mary, Joyce and Emily

all had their way with me.

Anna, Heather and Fran too;

came and went, said “We’re through!”.

Amy, Denise and Patricia as well;

put me through hell.

Lily;

she was silly.

Rachel loved red wine;

though love was lost

and I pay the cost,

these memories are still mine.

Thank you so much and agree friendships allow us to survive so many lows in life.
Inda, I liked the way you deal with your past... and are glad each and every thing /one had something beautiful, to remember forever and to paint the future with....
A keen poem, with a playful and beautiful wink in it. I loved this.
