Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Inda

Waiting

I wait

although it’s late

I will still wait for you,

-said I would.

The moon laughs,

so do the stars.

Passersby stare,

but I don’t care.

I wait,

yes you’re late,

but you’ll be here soon,

kiss me; fade away the stars and the moon.
