Why are they listening

to this maniac?- ranting

with no evidence,

just credence

and false hope!

-Because it helps them cope?

Allows them to sleep at night

and categorize what’s wrong or right?

Ever-changing,

damming

more and more

to hell; all the while leaving the pockets sore.

Still,

to some this maniac instills

stability

 and responsibility;

while maintaining ignorance.

For reason

promotes treason

as it demands a second glance.
