Glides

Glides

A Poem by Inda

Glides

Beneath the sunlight

birds take flight,

north

or south.

Towards or away from the shore,

others, others want more;

more than shelter from the wind.

More than feathers on their wing,

some search for love in the sky,

While mothers live and die.

the worm hides,

the eagle glides

above them all;

no matter if it’s winter or fall.
