Forget/Forgive

Forget/Forgive

A Poem by Inda

Forget/Forgive

The rain falls upon her head,

she’s trying to forget,

but relives it all instead.

remorse, regret,

blue shirt, yellow

cap fellow

standing by the door.

Swears he found her heart on the floor.

There’s so much to this,

she tries to forget, he forgives.

She’s dying,

he’s living.

She’s drowning,

he’s swimming.
