A Ghost

A Ghost

A Poem by Inda

A Ghost

An empty room,

a silent hum.

A house is not a home.

a dirty broom,

a spider’s web;

a memory I cannot forget.

Big brown eyes

filled with lies.

Lips that hurt

and I was her first.

Smiles while she cries,

eternal; never dies.

My heart’s the host

Her love’s the ghost.

Wow a haunting tale of a love lost yet that lingers in your heart forever. Beautiful.
