No Destination

No Destination

A Poem by Inda

No Destination

I hear his heartbeat on the floor,

rabid knocking on my door.

Freedom I’ll possess-nevermore.

Tell me raven what’s there to laugh at; what’s in store?

Darkened skies,

the sparrow flies,

Da Vinci asks why

can’t I?

The priest says wait until you die.

-this is all just a ride,

with no destination?

-Paradise; our most ambitious creation.
