Empty Cup of Light

Empty Cup of Light

A Poem by Inda

Empty Cup of Light

There’s light

I swear,

just look right

in there.

Conscientious lie,

I don’t know

why

I said it now.

I guess there’s a glimmer,

shadow of a dreamer

still.

Yet, such emptiness- no one could fill.

Thank you, glad you liked it. I had my doubts on this one.
A glimmer of light is better than no light at all. I understand the emptiness that no one can fill. Nicely written.
