Alone

Alone

A Poem by Inda

Alone

Alone

you’re strong,

sweet like a mother’s song.

Cuts to the bone

this goodbye

and the reason why.

On the phone

I hear your voice

-sounds like white noise.

Alone

I find myself again,

drowning in an ocean of pain.

Sinking like a stone,

gasping for air

looking around, but you’re not there.

Oh that pain again of being left alone by the one you love. Abandoned to loneliness to the point of drowning. Awesome, awesome write.
