Ignorance is Bliss

I’ve seen it all before,

they’ll always want more.

More for themselves,

-not a single book on the shelves.

They say they see all

life in winter and fall.

Ignorance is bliss,

for I see all they miss.

Yes ignorance is bliss for with knowledge come great sorrow. Yet also people perish though their stupidity. Nice written I like this.

makes you wonder about the springs and summers, does it not? but you are right, and as blissful as it may be it is still ignorance....i loathe ignorance when it can be helped and is ignored by stupidity. excellent write here, Inda. a keeper!
