Never Forgotten?

Never Forgotten?

A Poem by Inda
"

Reality is always changing and so is the news we talk about with such fervor.

"

Never Forgotten?

How quickly we forget

the maimed

and blood stained.

-The bringer of death.

The children, now quiet

-they’ll never dance or riot.

The debate ended,

the public’s wounds mended.

As one hand washes the other

we search for the next thrill

and again pretend to feel

sympathy for another victim’s mother.
