Blue Rose

Blue Rose

A Poem by Inda
"

A birth.

"

Blue Rose

There’s a blue rose in the pocket of his shirt.

It’s blue like the walls of the room were his wife is giving birth.

There’s anxiety on his finger tips

And a surge of pain runs along her hips.

There’s a brand new, naked soul in the world

And her lips quiver- she’s much too cold.

It flows very nicely together. The last line makes me question it though. If it was suppose to be a beautiful birth, or a woman giving birth to a sick or dead baby.
Good work with this one, Inda.
