Shadow

Shadow

A Poem by Inda
"

A poem about my shadow.

"
Shadow

I get small

and I grow big

Sometimes, you can’t see me at all.

I’m beside you,

often behind you

or even ahead.

I’m on the wall of the bedroom

where you make love

so passionately.

I’m on the streets

and sidewalks

of your life.

I’m the shadow

You seldom notice,

except tonight.

No problem.
Fantastic Inda. You capture exactly how we can all feel at times; the wanting. In the case of your well written poem (I could be wrong) but I pick up, however subtle, that the protagonist of this poem was finally faced with the reality, of The Desire....
