mine

mine

A Poem by Inda

                          Mine

The bed is cold even in the summer.

You no longer feel his touch.

All you can do is remember,

But you know it’s not enough.

Talk is talk and nothing more.

Life is not what it was before.

You miss those who you can no longer see.

Even I know you won’t fill that emptiness with me.

Fear and hate go hand in hand.

That is something you could never understand.

One day you’ll be happy and free.

One day soon even if it’s not with me.

You will be confident and strong.

No more crying all night long.

Strength you will find inside yourself this time.

Happiness you will find and you will finally be mine.

Thanks. I figure my name gives rise to some confusion, so a pic was needed.

Ambiguity can be fun sometimes...other times, it's nice to know to whom someone is talking. Thanks .. read more
