All faith in humanity lost

It's not actually a poem. just didn't know what category to put it in. So here ya go.

People like to lie a lot, sometimes to other people but mostly to themselves. They like to pretend that everything is perfect and that the world is a happy little place, completely disregarding the fact that people are dying all the time at the hands of this terrible species known as the human race. Well, the truth is the world is a horrible place, humans are dying constantly all over the world, humans are committing horrible acts on a regular basis whether it be murder, abuse, animal cruelty, torture and much more, people are manipulative liars that destroy anything in their path to get what they want. They will use you until you are no longer of use to them and then they will throw you away. In all honesty, the reason the world is such a horrible place is because of us humans.
