New Place

100 words.

It's funny how only in the dark do some things become apparent. Everyone's first night in a new place is unnerving, but probably not like this.

What I thought was exhaustion, imagined movement in the corners of my eyes, was a little more real. Noises weren't just results of paper-thin walls, pipes and old floors, but communication.

I thought it would be hard to be on my own for the first time, but this abysmal night proved that I am certainly not alone. And I don't think I will be moving again any time soon. Or so they tell me.

I keep reading this and the word "communication is very striking to me, can't put my finger on it, it's late here and I'm total in the room exhausted, feeling that type of supra reality and paranoia...i dig how this leaves so much open...

Hopefully nothing creepy tries to communicate with you in your state, although it could make it easier. Get some rest.
