Mensus

Mensus

A Poem by Roxanne Aponte

I'm a slave to the moon
which is reflected below my waist
The internal madness howls
before shedding the forgotten egg
This body wants to make babies,
but no one told her it's too late

About
I've been writing since I was a child: stories, poetry, much of it personal as I've been an avid journal writer for many years. I write mainly for the cathartic release. My love of words is a passion .. more..
