Love me still

Love me still

A Poem by Evita
"

The darker and perhaps more dysfunctional side of love...

"
Hate me if you will
But want me, love me still

Yell at me, say you don't care
I'll listen, as long as your voice I hear

I don't mind the curses you throw my way
at least I know, in your thoughts I stay

Don't listen to the apologies I offer
Don't accept the pleas I proffer

Don't forgive me now or never
but these ties won't ever really sever

Without you I will die
and when I do, you will cry

So hate me if you will
but want me, love me still
