A Poem by Christine

You’re in a strange place,

Unfettered for the first time.

Embrace the prospect.

Kinder days will come.

Simple moments remembered.

Displays of beauty.

I know this is true

Because it happened to me

The day you were born.

You are the kind of beauty I didn't think could exist.

I think too many people over look the joy of life - here you've caught it in a soft net of words like a butterfly on a warm summer's day. Simple, and sweet. Great write.
