now boarding on track #1

now boarding on track #1

A Poem by Christine

convey carefully crafted content

manipulate its meaning

polish its position

twist its tongue

salivate at its scope

reach millions

transform its form

edit its editions

revise its revisions

don't revisit this page

run out of ink

wonder

where

your wishes

end up

they live

on the signs

the single women

hold

in south station;

they can't

feed

their children

you had

10 minutes

before

your train left

you didn't

stop

for them

just like all the others

who think

they're in some kind of

hurry
