make my fingers dance a little

make my fingers dance a little

A Poem by Christine

they all bore me

their inept fumbling

just to get

through the days

they get

manicures

when no one

holds their hands;

wear your

ugly thoughts

around your neck

when no one

kisses it

adorn your face

with

flesh colored

plaster

and mascara

wear a wife beater

while beating

your husband

(don't laugh at the irony)

whiten your teeth

but don't you dare smile;

waste

my

time.

i'm just looking

for someone

to make

my fingers dance

on the keyboard

at the end of the day

we all wasted

trying

to be

beautiful
