Forest and Jenny

Forest and Jenny

A Poem by Christine

my neurons run marathons when jogging memories of you

they pass relay sticks to the closest axon

neurotransmitters escape like beads of sweat

(exercise is healthy, right?)

you could argue that Forest Gump

ran a solo cross country race

to forget about Jenny

(he ran to remember her)
