When he litters

When he litters

A Poem by Christine

If you follow the trail of discarded iced coffee cups,
you’ll find it leads to the passenger seat
of a station wagon, which runs on integrity instead of gasoline

When he throws trash out of the window,
it’s to make a statement;
he doesn't appreciate the universe’s lack of concern.

Soon you’ll find heaps of trash
because college degrees aren't biodegradable

If I could litter the streets with diplomas, I wouldn't stop
until the disillusionment covered up all the a*s-fault

Only the most resourceful make use out of garbage.

I found this write to be interesting and the ending of this poem speaks wonders "Only the most resourceful make use out of garbage." College degrees are truly what you make of them and nothing more these days
