THE POETRY THAT HAS BLOOMED IN THE DOO-DOO HOUSE ON MISS BRAZEN

THE POETRY THAT HAS BLOOMED IN THE DOO-DOO HOUSE ON MISS BRAZEN

A Poem by Thokchom Imosana
"

The individual conflict between the occidental and occidental cultures

"

The poetry that has  bloomed in the doo-doo house

On  Mono @ S. Chopra.

She must run her vein with the oriental blood,

But have dyed heavily with the occidental thought;

And stand at the median  of Hades and Heaven.

Why not she sees the grace and disgrace ,

She is not a hellbred.

But she has drunk the juice of helleborin  in the dream of the dew of hellebore?

Intoxicating wild, she shoots to limelight in the brazen universe.

But many  eves are put on the thin veil of shame.

She gets everything all she wants  then "name, palatial life and all,

What else she needs more to enjoy?

Yes, at last she could have reached the asteroid belt

That would tell her to go back to her oriental home,

To grow on the valleys of the Himalayas

And seek  for redemption from the seers and saints.
