IN THE LITTLE WASHROOMA Poem by Thokchom ImosanaSweet shortest momentIN THE LITTLE WASHROOM
A little paradise I’ve found; not high away, much down the snow capped Himalayas, or stay very far away , much below the steeple, but here in my washroom.
A little garden I’ve found; full of sweet blossom of thoughts displaying their magnificent colours and their true contours in the magic of light, but here in my small diaphragmatically tight cabin.
Sitting on the lily hassock, stole away some moments from the bustle of the vicious sphere of life, here I’ve found my resort, my retreat in my little washroom.
I can see deep through the barrier of this wall, many a thing quiet beautiful and lovely, the hidden treasures, but here in this narrow chamber.
A swift aura streams at the back of my mind, and opens all the secrets: recent and immediate past recollections, now testing my wisdom, but here in this close-tight room. © 2015 Thokchom Imosana |
