Shudder

Shudder

A Poem by Negomi

In this darkened hole that I call home,
I sit here drenched and all alone.
I pray for the day when this all goes away,
But alas I fear it is stuck to me dear.

Staring at the ceiling, with shuddered breathing,
Dried salt across my face, red eyes still stinging.
I slowly calm, breathe in breathe out,
Leaving all this doubt.
