you are my star i will never give up on you

IT IS CLOUDY TONIGHT.

It is cloudy tonight
but I can see two stars.

I know my mind is under the table
and I know my heart is heavy.

But I promise you I can see two stars.

The first star has no quality and looks defeated.
Their light is poor and flickering out.
But the second star.
The second star has brightest light my eyes have ever come across.
It has something that I cannot explain, something otherworldly.
I’m certain it can be seen from anywhere on earth.

However I can see the first star
damping the second star.
It has no light, so it is making sure their companion can’t have any too.

The bright star can’t hold on for much longer
so the bright star leaves
the bright star dies a little
but they know it is for the better.

The dampened star now has nothing to try for.
So it stops
and as it stops, it goes out completely.
