A Single heart is what i am
it is... what i am
A love once had
but is now gone away.
Left behind
where the pain and turmoil can stay

A Single heart
had found it's use again
resting in another mans soul
it just wasn't meant to be
Sadly
that Single heart loved
even when the Single heart
never received it back

A Single heart
loved and loved
until one day it came to an end
or so a Single heart thought
Little did she know
that the Single heart
died to an old state of love
but rose to another

A Single heart found love again
but it was also not meant to be
this love was deeper than
A Single heart thought
it could ever be
A Single heart loved through
pain and sorrow
joy and laughter
A Single heart was happy

The happy heart soon faded
into the shadows once again
where the inner most
thoughts and bondages
are kept
A place where
A Single heart can not be hurt anymore
Or so it thought

A Single hearts world came crashing down
when the love
that should have been
died
A Single heart was left
to mourn in sadness
and memories
Picking up the broken and lost memories
of a life well travelled.

A Single heart hasn't found
where the heart belongs
A Single heart
has so much love
but no one to give it to
A single heart lost
in the darkness of its soul

A Single heart bursts out in a cry
Where am i to rest
where am i to live
and beat
and love
Where am i to spend my days
and nights
comforting you who needs me
Where are you it cries

I am here for you
says the Single heart
filled with love and emotions
passion and pain
Sorrows and sadness
love to gain
A Single heart remains beating
for itself

Captivated by God's love
A Single heart
wants to break through
the past present and
Arrive in the future
with a future full of hope
A Single heart has the shell
but the color has faded dull

A Single heart needs to find
the part of the heart
that will fill it up
and keep it bright
and full of love
part of the Single heart
is filled by God
But a Single heart
wants a man's love

A Single heart isn't sure
if it will ever have that
but the Single heart is willing
to give it a try
A Single heart is looking
for another Single heart
to help pass
the time bye
