Wandering JewA Poem by Im His DaughterTradescantia Wandering Jew
A little revelation hit me square in the soul today, as I am admiring, training & strengthening my wandering jew. The newly planted pot from last week, is growing well. I rooted my broken stems, potted them, watched them grow longer & now I'm lifting them up, guiding them & leaf hooking them around my hanger, so they get bigger vines, fatter, thicker leaves.
The inside center ones are low to soil so they grow more roots deeper. Then once they are more established, they'll reach for the edge to hang out & down. I will have made my roots stronger & thicker at the core. I love my plants. Like people a wandering jew is weak at times, carries dead weight, is rotting because it's not being cared for. It goes & grows where it pleases without regard, wanders around aimlessly, even gets broken at times. But, once it finds someone who will take care of it, help it get rooted, train in the ways it needs to be trained to thrive, it'll be loved, cherished & stronger than it ever was. Like God does with his children. I am his child, you are his child, he wants to admire, train & strengthen you. Get rooted in him & let him prune you. © 2021 Im His Daughter |
