I Vow

I Vow

A Poem by Im His Daughter

She will not be forgotten
She will not be hidden away, like she didn't exist
She was a real, live soul, on earth briefly
God has her, where she is valued, honored & loved
She is worth more than diamonds & rubies, she is his jewel
Just don't think for a moment, that she is forgotten, because in the end, an atonement will be made, a price will be paid, a life will be remembered
I vow to keep her remembered
She will not be forgotten
Kimberly Melissa

Kimberly Melissa
I will speak it everyday of my life
Her name is written in the Lamb's Book Of Life
She is wearing a beautiful white dress, a crown of daisies on her head, her golden hair flows, as she runs free, at age 3
She knows where she belongs, she knows her worth
She knows no pain
God took her home where she belonged
He made her, he formed her, he gave her breath & life
He took her home, because she was not appreciated, his gift was misused & mistreated
She was not respected, loved or cherished; but she always was, by God
I am glad she is back where she belongs, to run free, in the promised land
She may have been taken that Sunday & you may have just lost another daughter on Monday, but the reasons though different, are the same
You took Kimberly's life, April 13th 2003
Megan took her own life, April 30th 2018
Why?
That fateful morning you took your daughter's life, was Megan's first birthday, April 13th 2003
Tell me, how was Megan supposed to be happy on her birthdays, knowing her next oldest sibling, died the morning of her 1st birthday
How could that baby carry that with her for 16 yrs & not feel pain
Reminded every birthday is her sisters death day.
Happy 1st Birthday Megan, your sister died today.
How does it feel not only killing one child but knowing you're responsible for sentencing your other daughter to death at the age of 16!
And you wonder why, you said at the vigil tonight for Megan.
Ask yourself that when you visualize your daughter on a foot bridge, hanging by her neck
Oh, one day you will slip the tongue
You will confess about killing Kimberly, since Cliff got off
You, you will slip up & both Kimberly & Megan will have justice
There was not one photo of Kimberly in that video showing Megan's 1st yr of life with her siblings
You purposely left Kimberly out, to appease your evil soul
Don't think for a moment that my son & I never caught on.
You may have wanted to sweep that under the rug, only mentioning her as a predeceased
But, we can see right through your fake facade
She will not be forgotten

When you hear her name, you will be reminded of Kimberly's death

Just remember
They will not be forgotten
This I vow

Rest In Peace Kimberly Melissa April 6th 2000 to April 13th 2003
Rest In Peace Megan Dianne April 13th 2002 to April 30th 2018
