Grief

Grief

A Poem by Im His Daughter

Grief never stops
the pain never ends
your heart never forgets
the love left, sits in limbo forever
Until someone grabs your heart & holds
onto it, making it whole until it feels love again
If that never happens... well then
you are left in limbo crying & dying inside
So much love to give, yet no one wants it

crying
       dying
              limbo

grief
     never
            stops

Im His Daughter
The one man who knew, me. This man was my dreams. This man I love & miss for as long as the sun & moon shall rise & fall. I knew his hearts cry right before Jesus took him to heaven. I love you & miss you so much Paul. Cancer made him bloat up in weight. This photo was taken on his final trip to Cuba before he died on Thanksgiving Day Oct 12th 2008

Grief doesn't stop, but it does settle into a sort of routine. You go on living. Others need us, need us to share our experience so that when - not if, but when - their grief comes, they will know that it's possible to survive. Keep writing. This is so well expressed!

Thank You Writ Rajat. Today is our 150th Birthday of Canada. Our Canada Day & it was something we did with my children every year for about 10 yrs. Some things are hard to get over. Yes tomorrow may be a better day. Thanks for the review, I appreciate it. Blessings.

No problem :)
I truly agree! Grief doesn't stop... At some point in our lives, we'll have grief, find happiness then, and later grief comes back
Well done!
Greatly explained, keep it up!
Really sorry to hear about the tragedy
