Summer

Summer

A Poem by Im His Daughter

Sunshine & roses

sunscreen on noses

Beaches & buoys

shovels & sand toys

Rides in cars

watching stars

Windy days

roaring bonfires

Bathing suits & bikini's

sipping martini's

Long walks in the park

playing hooky from work

Summer days

boats on the bays

Frisbee flying

burgers frying

Baseball practices

blooming cactuses

Ice cream stands

marching bands

Summer camps

soccer champs

Air conditioners

mIdway exhibitioners

Stock car races

smiles on faces

Summertime fun

laying in the sun

Water skis

birds & bees

Summers rain

deck stain

Hotdogs

little frogs

Summer storms

bicycle horns

Sounds of summer

all around

Wish it could be

all year round
