Where My Trust Will Be

I trust in my bank account

I trust in my strength

I trust myself to make my life

I know it's wrong

I trust that I can walk outside

& not get hit by a bus

I trust in my watching over my life

I know it's wrong

I give it all to you

I lay it at your feet

Take it all away from me

I trust to place my trust in you

I give up my works

& let you works be done

I know this is right

I trust you

I trust you can handle my life

& run it better than I

I have sinned

You bring children into my care

You make it so their parents have trust in me

because you trust in me

You are my strength

You give me the tools to live this life

You know what is right & wrong in my life

You bring the good & want me to give you the bad

I put my trust in you

I trust you that you will give me breath

& allow me to open my eyes each morning

You are always the same

You never leave me or forsake me

I am not ruled by the world

I am ruled by you

I trust in you

You are faithful

You are my provider

You are my strength

You are my guide

You are the light

You lead my path

You clear the stones in my path of life

I trust you God

Faithful you are to me

I am putting my faith in you
