Paradise

Peace in Heaven one day will come

My heart will hurt no more

this body shall pass away

No more sadness

No more crying nights gone by

My sins forgiven

My wings I shall receive

Heavens gates will open

to be greeted by those

who went before me

My body made new

the burdens I carried are gone

the heavy weight disolved

My new body in Christ

is a welcomed sight

My short hair is long

a beautiful shining brown

a color I have not seen on earth

from chemical or born

Flowing in the breeze

I sit by the river

that God has said is mine

His promised land

he did not lie

is beautiful beyond all imagination

The trickling of the water

coming over the falls

flowing down stream

past the willow tree

that was planted just for me

The love of my creator

the one who accepts me

a sinner, cleaned

As white as snow

the wings of an angel

I am given a gorgeous white gown

something I never thought

that I could wear

It was made for me

It flowed like my hair

Heaven is a beautiful place

full of bright amazing color

No pain

No tears

Just sun & trees

A golden road that leads

to my own special place

that he prepared for me,

yes for me

I thought it was a story, so undeserving

Golden & gorgeous

It stands in all it's grandness

Rolling hills & grass

a green you can never imagine

Who am I to deserve this

I am a child of God

He is my Abba Father

My promise Keeper

My Love

My Heart

I sit by my tree

he planted just for me

watching my surroundings

glisten & bloom

forever & ever

Nothing can destroy it

No harm shall ever come

His promises are true

Don't underestimate him

He isn't a liar

If you want to see this paradise

he promises you

accept him in his name

Jesus Christ your Lord

His promised land is for you

Cast all your burdens

cares & tears

Give them all to him

& when it's your time

He will bring you to him

He has a special place for you

whatever you have dreamt

will never compare

His ways are truth & light

He cares for you

Jesus is the answer

He is your guiding light
