Anxieties

Anxieties

A Poem by Im His Daughter

Parental Anxieties are normal feelings if you have not taken your children to daycare much or at all. However thinking it is no different than going to Grandma & Grandpa's or a friends for a play day is just as good or if not better. How a parent reacts towards their daycare, sitter, play day parent or whoever in front of your child speaks volumes. Negativity & high anxieties cause your child, the caregiver & even other children to feel the ripples of the anxiety throughout their little selves & that upsets the caregiver too. As a caregiver I can't tell a parent to not be anxious persea, well I can but it isn't going to work if the parent or parents doesn't have faith.

Hebrews 11:1 King James Version (KJV)

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

I have an acronym for Faith that I have made up, not sure if I heard it somewhere but I say it to myself.. Faith is Always In The Heart... If Faith is in my Father then I am Faithful & have Faith in me too, because I am in my Father as he is in me.

If you drop of your child(ren) at daycare with a happy face, smiling & upbeat that is ging to ripple through their little selves & be evident throughout their day.. some kids carry their parents anxieties because they see how their parents are but trying to be mindful in knowing those are the parents stones they have picked up & placed in their childs wheelbarrow or backpack of life. The child is then left to carry the anxieties & burdens with them through life. If the parent chooses to believe & have faith in themselves for making the right decision in who is caring for their child then there should be no worries..

I don't want to carry any parents fear, anxiety, or burdened rocks... I have my own to carry. Toss those rocks away or hand them over to God. He is the only one willing to carry your burdens. He already did that for you when he carried the cross, died for our sins & iniquities. But the good news is he rose again & gives you, me & everyone else in life, a new life in him. Give God your cares & concerns...

Matthew 6:25-27  “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?  Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?

Matthew 6:34  “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Matthew 11:28-30  Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.“

Luke 12:25 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his  span of life?

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you;my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Here are some scriptures on Peace, Love, Faith & Hope you can pray over yourself, I will even stand in agreement for them.. where two or more are in agreement it shall be done.

Peace:

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

Love:

John 3:16  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 8:37-39  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

1 John 3:1  See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Faith:

1 Corinthians 13:2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

1 Corinthians 16:13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

2 Corinthians 5:6-7 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight.

Ephesians 6:16 (KJV) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Hope:

Proverbs 24:20 for the evil man has no future; the lamp of the wicked will be put out.

Proverbs 24:14 Know that wisdom is such to your soul; if you find it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Let Go & Let God:

An example of what Let go and Let God means, I ask you to do this exercise. Find something that you have been unable to let go. It might be an object, a piece of clothing or something that is sitting around as clutter-such as a lamp that needs to be repaired, but, who will repair it? Take the item you selected and make the conscious decision to let go of it. Take the item to Goodwill, put it in the recycle bin or if it is of little use or value, toss it in the trash bin.

As you let the item leave your hands, infuse the object with anything else you would like to let go. Infuse it with fear, concern, regret, worry, resentment, anger, sadness, guilt, shame humiliation, etc.

When the item has left your hands infused with the other items you wish to let go, remember to avoid letting your mind pick up what you infused onto the item. You can use a powerful statement to quiet your tricky ego mind. "No, I let go. It no longer belongs to me."

Next, turn your attention to walking in the presence of God. Bring the image vividly into your mind. Sense the warmth and the white glow of God's energy in and around you, because, God indwells you and is around you. You will notice in a few days that you are relieved by the lack of fear, concern, regret, worry, resentment, anger, sadness, guilt, shame, humiliation, etc.

Since you have quieted your mind of all the fear, concern, regret, worry, resentment, anger, sadness, guilt, shame, humiliation, etc. God's presence is more present in your life. You can sense or hear God giving you guidance and loving support. God's information drops into your mind in full sentences, paragraphs or a poignant thought that is an Ah-ha. And, as you listen to God's messages, you have completed the cycle of letting go and letting God to assist you in accomplishing what you need to accomplish.

Lastly please know that I am confident in my abilities as a mom of 2 grown chidren, with 29 yrs experience to care for your children.. When coming to drop off the children, if you make it happy & quick there is less likely going to be anxiety. If there is anxiety be confident in knowing I can handle the situation. If the parent hangs around, it feeds the anxiety making things more difficult for me to console the child. Dropping off & leaving happy within a minute or two makes all the difference in the world.
