Ipomoea The Moon Flower FairyA Poem by Im His DaughterFlowing dark hair like a ravens wing the moon flower fairy, Ipomoea soars through the night sprinkling her fairy dust over the forests delight sleep all you wonderful creations, she sighs gather your strength for the next days light as she dances in the light of the moon she lands on her bed, so white
A moon fairy's night singing her songs from her heart & lips touching & dancing on the flower tips of the moon flower that blooms at her first sight laying herself down in her aromatic bed so white Ipomoea closes the blooms around her so tight goodnight my forest friends she says goodnight let the moonlights musical hums lull you to sleep tonight goodnight Ipomoea the breeze recites silence encases the forest tonight the moodlight softens as Ipomoea the moon fairy closes her eyes tight & breathes one final goodnight © 2014 Im His DaughterAuthor's Note
