Chapter One

A little about me about the main character.

     For starters, my name is Kingsley Bair.. But you can call me King. I’m not necessarily your average boy. I like being alone, I have no friends at school, and I’m always quiet. I’m not bullied or anything, but that’s just me. I live with my dad in Tallassee, Alabama. I go to Smooth Ridge High School and, if you ask me, I make pretty good grades. When I was younger I had a weird habit of going to sleep then sleep walking into the laundry room and turning on the dryer then laying beside it. I guess the shaking helped me sleep somehow, I’m not sure still. I started sleeping with a teddy bear when I was 9, weird right? Before my grandpa had passed away he gave it to me, and it makes me feel like I have a little piece of him just with me when I go to sleep. I hope I don’t sound like a wimp to you right now but, hey, you probably want to know who I am and what I do and where I live before you start reading about me.
