Chapter 3 Childhood, Second Grade

A Chapter by Masaking

Thought I would make it

I rode my bike down to a ramp which was 40 stairs and at the bottom of this ramp; there was a rocky wall in front. At first I thought I would went down and just make a left turn after the ramp. This ramp was made in silver metal and it was a little bit wet at that time. Before I went, I took a deep breath, thought over my plan, would work successfully. When I went down I realized that my break was broken and I was very nervous. I saw the rocky wall in front of me and… (I fainted at that moment). By the time I woke up, I said to myself, “Am I still alive.” I opened my eyes slowly, saw the sky was blue and it was sunny. Then I realized that I was still alive! My chin was on the rocky wall. I pushed myself off the wall. I noticed that I was bleeding from my chin and I tried to put my finger into my wound, it was so deep that I got scared. Later, I started to walk back home. On my way home, I started to cry. When I got home, my dad panic and took me to a children hospital.

This was the first time that God saved me.

That wasn’t fun

This was all started when my friend, Yen-yi and I were invited to Max house. After school, we went to his house. He showed us around. He was rich that he owned two stories in an apartment. Some how we started to played tag, at the end. Yen-yi had the same thought as I that we were going to ditch Max because I saw the time was 6pm. We made a plan together and told Max and his brother that we were going to play hide and seek. We told them to go hide up stair and we would count down stair. As they went up, Yen-yi and I sneaked out the main door.

When we were outside, we both burst out laughing and running at the same time. It was quite dark at that time. As we got back to our apartment, at the lobby, there were about 4 or 6 people. We walked in; those people were Yen-yi’s family. We didn’t know what was going on. His family was very mad at him and told him not to see me ever again. His family always thought I was a bad children.

That night one night, I got home and I saw my sister, Adi. She told me our parents were out looking for me then at the same time when I was about to go to my room, my parent came back. My father had a scary face, ran toward me and grabbed my arm as I tried to run away from him. He yelled in front of my face, that I got home late; he was worried and mad at the same time. He took his belt off and started to whip me.

Within 3 days I got hit by a car.

It all started when I hang out with 6th and 7th grader during school days. We rode bike everyday after school and got home very late around 11pm to 12am. Every time when I got home, my parents were out to fine me, they even called police for help.

Day 1, after school, a 6th grader wanted to borrow my older sister’s bike. When I let him borrowed, he invited me to go biking with them. The 6th grader has a friend in 7th grade, when they both made their agreement. I became become one of allies. At that time I was so excited to ride bike with older kids. We rode bike to a famous park (in Taipei) and made a big loop and rode back home.

Day 2, same thing but on our way there was a storm, we stopped at a short and our boss (7th grader) treat us stink tofu to eat. It maybe stinks but it was really tasted, well after you rode on your bike for 30miles you would think whatever you eat is good.

Day 3, it was raining and I was really tried because I ate too much candies on the way. The two of them telling me to hurry. I stopped, saw them crossed the street. I rested for 2 or 3 minutes, then I opening my eyes. The water on my hair was dripping down to my eye brown. I could see them waving their hand, telling me to hurry. I pushed myself, rode as fast as I could but at that moment when I crossed the street. I shift my eyes on my right, saw a car came at me. Then I saw a white light went into my mind. Soon as I opened my eyes again, I saw myself on the ground and a person came out of his car. At that moment I thought I was dead because I could see myself in the sky, but as soon as I felt someone touched my shoulder… I woke up, some how I was crying, I don’t know why. I been picked up by this person and he left me in his car. I slowly set up and looked through out the back of the glass window in his car. I saw an ambulance came. The guy took me into the ambulance, before they close the door I saw my allies were there, watching. A man in the ambulance asked them am I their friend. I couldn’t believe my eyes that the two of them said no. On the way to a hospital, I touched my head, realized I had a big bump.

Sooner or after, I arrived at the hospital, I sat on a bed, the nurse checked my blood pressure and then she asked my home number. At that time, I told them I forgot. As the nurse walked to the doctor, I thought about it, I was thinking my dad would be mad at me and as soon as they arrive I would be dead. But if I don’t, I wouldn’t able to go home, so… I stopped the nurse and told her my number.

When I saw my family arrived, the first person who walked in, was my dad. His fearless looked made me nervous even more as he talked to the doctor. Afterward he came to me, gently padded my head, and gave me a big warm hug. I was surprised and wondering why?

This was the second time that god saved me.
