From The Start : ChapterA Story by NeverTheLessThe story I posted on the other website. :) It's romance. :DD“Heya, Erica baby.” My hair stood on its ends when I heard a familiar voice, ringing from the lockers hallway. I decided to walk briskly, almost throwing up at the near-heard conversation between ‘him’ and ‘her’. “Okay, what’s your problem?” Crista spoke; I turned my head to see her face. I flashed a twisted expression. “Oh. It’s just a phrase that you heard, why react like that?” “It’s awful!” I replied to her. “My dear twin sister…” She started, smiling dearly at me. “How madly are you in love with him that you react so much?” “Shut up, Crista.” I muttered at her, she just smiled. “Kirstie… You know how a jerk Chase is, not to mention, he just flirted with Erica for years and years! In short, since middle school, and now you still react the same since we’ve met him for the first time when we were six.” “’Him’ and ‘me’ are not friends.” “Okay, that’s considered in the contrary, but we have been family acquaintances! His family and ours are best friends! As in forever! That, even if we have the worst financial crisis, his family and ours are still neighbors! We still give them cakes at Easter, we exchange gifts! You always got his name and his same! I fell in love with his brother because of you and you can’t accept it!” “You are making a Presidential Speech, Crista.” “I know! That’s the point!” “Go to your honey bunch, okay? If you really love me?” She rolled her eyes and went to her locker; Chad was waiting for her. “Hi Kirstie.” “Hi Chad.” I dropped greeted at Chad. He was like a brother to me, that I really trusted him my sister. I really accept him for my sister, but the case that maybe he will be sticking to my sister forever, ‘him’ will be my damn brother-in-law… I just can’t accept. I walked the crowded hallway of lockers…then somebody held my wrist. “What the hell?” I turned around to see his grinning face. “What the heck do you want?” “Nothing.” He simply said, he flashed me a smirk. Then, from behind him, Erica appeared; she was biting her fingers. “Hey b***h, what’s up?” I looked at her up and down. “Just checking…w***e.” She was about to slap me when Chase stopped her hand. “Just mutter, DON’T hurt her.” I walked away from them. “Make sure if you’ll check again, make sure you’re not a b***h anymore!” She shouted at me. “W***e!” I shouted back.
I hissed in the air. She’s a total b***h! A freak! A w***e!
“Kirstie.” I heard Chase mutter. “What? Telling me to never hurt your girl?” “Jealous?” “Naa, go away Chase, you’re annoying the hell out of me.” “Okay.”
I rolled my eyes at him.
“Hello, Kirstie.” I turned around to see Emily’s face. “Oh, hi Emily.” “I heard you and Mr. Triester fighting.” “It’s nothing, sort of fighting over a chocolate.” “You’re really close?” “Not in a million years, and if that would happen, I’ll owe you 30 times at the carnival.” “Okay…I won’t forget the date.”
I and Emily have been friends forever; she has been close to me since middle school. Though, we only talk in the morning and at Physics, we could really get together, she knows everything about me, from head to toe, but not in the brain to the bone.
I stepped in the room of Physics class, I know it was too early; it was just 7:15 am in the morning for first period.
Then I received a text message:
As many miles have been there that caused us to break apart, It’s only distance that is between us, But in the feeling that we always have, We are always friends, please don’t forget.
Who else would have been sending me quotes and poems? It took time to register in my mind, that what I was reading is a poem… A poem!
