Mortal Legacy

This is a poem that is an extremely brief synopsis of the Mortal Legacy series. Im not a poet but Im trying to explore every aspect of writing. Enjoy.

 

My Mother was an Angel

Daddy is a demon

There love combined

And made a little girl

Life was never normal

Torn between two worlds

Healing humans

Killing mortals

Fighting for the love of my Father

I would for eternity

Blinded by my need for a real family

I never saw how evil he was

Until he killed my little girl……..

One editing suggestion: The third line, it would be "their" instead of "there." Other than that, I really enjoyed it. This would make an awesome story, especially in regards to what happened to the mother.

Well, it ain't perfect, but it definetely is an eye catcher. Very interesting. Would like to see more with this story line. Kudos.

WOW! I know how this feels, its like you and i have lived very similar lives. This poem is almost a mirror of my own relationship with my father.
You did a great job with it.
Though it is sad, I still enjoyed it.
