In The Stillness Of Her Heart She Cries For Him

In The Stillness Of Her Heart She Cries For Him

In the freshness of spring when rebirth comes anew

Dreams of a love fading out of the blue,

shatters a broken heart

Concise retentiveness compose memories of him

Fragrant air fountains his scent

She longs to be inside his skin,

make his heart beat for her once again

Summer wraps his wramth around her

His flesh melts into her a longing of loss

The taste of him becomes succulent with each passing moment

Out-lines of his features accompany her dreams at night,

commemorating times spent in his arms

Autumn replay the changes in her life

Each falling leaf weaves a canopy of him,

shrewding her with what once was now is gone

The breath inside her canot blow it away

Winter crisp days freeze his touch upon her skin,

igniting the dying fire in her cold heart

With each passing season her love for him deepens,

while his fades away

In the stillness of her heart she cries for him

She longs to be inside his skin,

make his heart beat for her once again

Beautiful artwork and a amazing story. Love is hard to control. Take two with proper timing and the same desire. Hard to happen. I like the complete story. A very sad ending to a outstanding poem.

Beautiful, beautiful words. I always look forward to reading your poems because I know it's going to be a wonderfully written piece with vivid imagery and romantic language. This one didn't disappoint!

Just lovely. Makes me yearn for such a love. But anyway I adore this poem because it reflects such love and desire. The world is lacking that. It is a blessing writers like you bring it to light.

I have had these moments when I longed to be with someone who was very far away. I have been very careful with my heart for quite sometime now. I am almost reluctant to give it away. There is but one person but alas is too far away. This holds a part of my heart that I truly know the anguish that can come from morning the loss of a love that isn't actually dead.

Out of a loss is where we can find some of our greatest gains... some excellent metaphoric uses.

The reader gets the sense of two becoming one and then there is a loss of one of the ones, creating great longing. Superb romantic poem!
