Peace Dances Upon Her SoulA Poem by KATHY SUE SILLS
She wonders is there life out there of peace and freedom Trapped in a world of artificial love she dreams of ballet Musical tranquility infuses sweet melody into a broken heart When she wears her tutu it's her shield against the pain She longs to immerse herself forever in the grace of dancing
Tears carpet the floor where her feet touches Her soul is tailor-made for strength as she soars through the air Indignity becomes invisible as life takes on an invitation to living Indirection changes course to a precise path
Harmony fits her contour like a second skin A smile lights her aura The feel of freedom intwined with her silhouette dances to the melody as peace covers her soul
