What Is Love?A Poem by KATHY SUE SILLS
A black and white mind has images of love dancing about Brings a breath of warm sunshine to sullen land A spectrum of color splashs upon blank canvas Fills a life with glorious array of wonderment
Does love last a brevity of time? Or does it stick around? An empty heart that has never felt love wants to know What is love?
A wrath of a hand Lips of hateful words Evil eyes that despise what they see A black and white world with no color
She looks around and see smiling faces Laughter bubbling in the air Hands embracing Lips softly speaking, I love you Is that love she wonders
A world of color filled with love seems out of reach She lives in black and white Watches as love colors every one but her She is alone and confused What is love?
