Fools gold words that mean nothing

Mischievous delight frames your features

Fool me once

Fool me twice

But never again

Ain't no more loving you baby

 

Cata Combs of my heart hold many chambers

Pain, anger and remorse step over the

thresh-old, taking up resident

Uncloaking of your personality opens blinded eyes

Resentiment smothers my air

Estuary of tears flow into the rising tide

A journey of relinquish she takes

Uncanny life is ahead

Reciprocate feelings swing back and forth

Perspire drips with fear

Ain't no more loving you baby

 

Sensual voluptuous cause me to pause

Temptation over rides my thoughts

Your superstitious ways forge me on

Ain't no more loving you baby

 

Heart constricts

A stray tear slids down cheek

Eyes watch you walk out

Words fill my mouth

I was enchanted by this. Sometimes it is easier to pretend you are okay instead of really being okay. Sometimes there are decisions in life that really throw us through a loop and we cannot figure out how to escape the hole we fell into.
