Emotional Mother Nature

Emotional Mother Nature

The moon and stars were hidden in the somber sky. Dawn turned into morning time, sun did not shine. Rain fell from darken clouds as Mother Nature let out her soulful cries. Branches out stretched limbs tried to give Mother Nature an affectionate

embrace, but she could not be consoled.

The world became forlorn.

Wind blew in a cantankerous fit. Thunder rumbled, lightning

flashed furiously. Tornados whirled on the ground, seething destruction.

Was Mother Nature having an emotional breakdown?

The rain storm ceased. Flower blooms opened their petals in jubilant relief. A gentle breeze blew a delicious sweet scent. Birds tweeted in perfect harmony as a

magnificent rainbow appeared. The golden

sun came out from hiding. Mother Nature smiled upon the earth, what can I say I'm a woman?

Beautiful, with fantastic imagery and an almost comical ending. Only a woman could freak out and have an emotional meltdown, then suddenly turn around and act as though it was nothing at all. Excellent piece. Thank you.

"I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar." Very well done. Cant say I know what is to be a woman but this is certainly a very clear perception there of.

Though I adore the depiction of mother nature as being emotional, I am torn on her being called a woman - how about just human? but then again; its not very human of her to wipe us out right :) thought provoking :)

All the moods of women in the guise of Mother Nature...but then...nature has all the moods of women. Wonderful write. I enjoyed it.
