Emotional Mother NatureA Poem by KATHY SUE SILLS
The moon and stars were hidden in the somber sky. Dawn turned into morning time, sun did not shine. Rain fell from darken clouds as Mother Nature let out her soulful cries. Branches out stretched limbs tried to give Mother Nature an affectionate embrace, but she could not be consoled.
The world became forlorn. Wind blew in a cantankerous fit. Thunder rumbled, lightning flashed furiously. Tornados whirled on the ground, seething destruction. Was Mother Nature having an emotional breakdown?
The rain storm ceased. Flower blooms opened their petals in jubilant relief. A gentle breeze blew a delicious sweet scent. Birds tweeted in perfect harmony as a magnificent rainbow appeared. The golden sun came out from hiding. Mother Nature smiled upon the earth, what can I say I'm a woman?
