Picture PerfectA Poem by KATHY SUE SILLSAnother love story gone bad!
Times passed gone serenades a lonely life A hallow heart is all remains Eyes ache for just one more look of beauty Lips hunger for her sweet taste Hands yearns to hold that delicate body once again
The present time with her is gone A future has vanished too Past is all he has left of her Pain lulls momentary, Then comes back stronger than before
Each lady portrays her He realizes the best is gone A picture perfect woman made a picture perfect life Body tremors from withdrawal Addiction of lost love
Visions of what was teases dreams Pride keeps words unspoken The darkest hour is now and forever, Since her love became obsolete, Died like beautiful flowers In summer heat
Clock is broken, Cannot turn back time Days left to live in an unperfect world, Since his picture perfect life turned into a picture perfect memory
