Season's Photo AlbumA Poem by KATHY SUE SILLS
Spring Summer Autumn Winter Four seasonal snap shots of stunning photos Each one fashioned in their own way
After a long winters nap spring awakens the earth Prism of colors splash upon a canvas of art Floral flowers of all array open their blooms Dances to the beat of buzzing bumble bees Butterflies and hummingbirds stop every so often for a sip of sweet nectur Soaring kites fly high in the sky, keeping the drifting clouds company Baby birds lay in their nest, chriping beaks wide open, waiting to be fed Nature is flourished with life once again
The sun rises high in the cloudless sky, letting its presence known Summer is sweltering A breeze blows humid air Creatures scurry to shades given by huge bushy trees Flowers wilt from heat exhaustion Rain is scarce, but when a summer rain magically appears the tear drop liquid teases nature with little relief from the sultry heat
Nature begins a multicolored transition as autumn appears Once lustrous green leaves turn to shades of red, yellow, orange and brown The crisp cool breeze sends them twirling, leaving them strewn on the ground All creatures begin to harvest their food for the winter time Pungent scent of pine and wood fill the air
The sun looses its heat as winter comes Trees now bare shiver in the cold fridged air Frost shields the window panes Fog crules up from cold ponds Rain freezes into ice sickles Snow blankets the ground Everyone hibernates from the harsh freezing weather
Spring Summer Autumn Winter Come each year with a different photo to share
