Heat Wave (Creative Poetry Challenge)A Poem by KATHY SUE SILLSSummer at its hottest.
Noxious sun in a blue sky, rays an inferno of heat. Sweat glistens on casanova men, hitting on women as they walk by in their string bikinis. The sandy terra beach is filled with tanned bodies laying on towels, verve children splashing in the forment blue ocean. Alleviation of breeze does nothing to cool things off. Over heated people feel gelatinous as the heat wave presses on. © 2011 KATHY SUE SILLSAuthor's Note
